Sunusi return and the dilemma ahead
Sunusi's return to the royal throne once again makes one reflect on the fact that life itself is time and time is finite.
The removal of Sunusi from the throne as the king of Kano without a doubt left a huge vacuum in the minds of the majority of Kanolite that only today that void becomes filled. This is very obvious
I think the bottom line in these political upheavals and gimmicks in Kano is not just removing Sunusi and replacing him with a kind and humble Aminu Ado Bayero but splitting the emirate into different branches.
However, if this is what the majority of kanolites want let them have it. But it's long overdue to use a valuable tradition for political machinations and child play.
I pray may the return of Sunusi Lamido be the best thing that will happen to Kano in the long run(Ameen). Welcome back, Sarkin Kano.
