The Shehu of Borno, Alhaji Abubakar Ibn Umar Garbai El-kanemi has enjoined Muslim Ummah to come out enmass to attend the forthcoming congregational prayers to seek for divine intervention for rainfall in the state.
A statement signed and made available to BRTV Maiduguri by the Private Secretary to the Shehu, Zannah Umar Ali indicates that the two rakat prayers for rainfall will hold on Monday the 17th of July, 2023 at Ramat Square Maiduguri by 10 O’clock in the morning.
The statement also called on Muslims irrespective of age, gender and status to come out enmass to attend prayer to seek Allah’s mercy on the shortage of rainfall this year.
