Fellow comrades
I greet you warmly in accordance due regard with the spirit of togetherness and oneness. My nomenclature remains undiluted, Comr. Dini Wakili popularly known as _Aluta Lastborn_ , a 300level student from Agricultural department in the prestigious Aminu Saleh College Of Education affiliated with University of Maiduguri. A 45years old citadel of learning that distinguishes itself in terms of producing qualitative teachers with mastery of the subject matter and sound character in order to curtail the shackles and the manacles of ignorance.
The greatest students, to be straightforward, I stand here before you today, to summit my credentials in order to serve you as your next 'SECRETARY GENERAL' under the umbrella of S.U.G. moreover it may interest my fellow students to know that I once served in various students fora, which helped me to garnered a lot of wisdom to take our dear SUG to the higher heights.
However, the unions i served then and now include but not limited to the followings; one time Vice President AGRICULTURAL EDUCATION STUDENTS' ASSOCIATION(AESA), one time President KATAGUM STUDENTS' ASSOCIATION (KSA) ASCOE AZARE CHAPTER, one time President (AESA), member STUDENTS' WRITERS ASSOCIATION, Aluta President STUDENTS' UNION GOVERNMENT, National PRO (KSA), National Chairman Media & Publicity (KSA), member National Convention Committee (KSA), Director Media & Publicity (KSA), National Chairman Media NUBASS, Director of Sales (KSA) National Convention Committee, Sarkin Fawa Of Gamji Memorial Club ASCOE Chapter, Chief Of Staff to the S.U.G President among others.
Dear colleagues, some of the rationales behind my candidature, if or when given the mantle of leadership, are as follows :
1. To ensure effective and judicious utilization of union's resources.
2. To facilitate the provision of Power supply in our respective campus, particularly hostels and lecture halls.
3. To mobilize our industrious students to sanitize the college, in order keep it cleaned and cleared.
4. To facilitate the provision of adequate medicines in our very own clinic, for the common good of all.
5. To orient our fellow students to stay away from social vices e.g Exam malpractice, cultism, stealing, indecent dress, truancy and any form of immorality e.t.c
In the last notes, I want each and every student to remember that S.U.G remains the mother of each and every union in the college, therefore it is now a high time for us to come our in masse to cast our votes on good ambassadors in order to keep the flowing flag flying.
