Today, the 18th of August 2022, the Honourable Minister of State for Health, Hon. Joseph Ekumankama, formally presented the appointment letter to Dr Dauda Abubakar Katagum (Zanna Dujiman Katagum), as the substantive Medical Director, Federal Medical Centre Azare at the Federal Ministry of Health, Abuja.
Recall that the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria had earlier confirmed the appointment in a letter dated 9th August 2022 signed by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation. The appointment, effective from 4th August 2022, is to last for an initial tenure of four years. We pray may Allah the Almighty guide the new MD to what is right, best and proper. Amin
